hard times growing up
Cameran Joseph Martin, AKA: "Jay Rose" is an 18 year old unsigned artist out of Baltimore, Maryland. From a very young age Jay's Father was in and out of jail. Along with that, his mother was in and out of institutions, struggling with addiction which left him to stay with his grandmother in a small town where he felt was a place of hate. Jay dedicated his time and energy into writing lyrics, serving as an outlet for him to realize his capabilities. To make room for his new home studio, Jay gutted his closet, leaving him barely any room for clothes. He then started to send his music to engineers to increase the quality of his music. From then realizing the quality of music he could create, he then started hitting legit studios where professional producers and engineers can see the talent this young artist possesses.

Jay Rose released his first official song "Go Harder" In February 2021..
with quality that stood out in a county full of Artists.. It was clear that Jay Rose had a different sound... Once the streams started coming in, Jay knew what he was capable of.
Looking to the Future
Jay plans to start a record label called Rose Records. Jay and his team are working towards their goals. The future for Jay Rose and his team is big, the question is Can they live up to the dream?
